Getting critical over red cycling shoes seems a bit silly. After all... as much as I love cycling... we are the most ridiculously dressed athletes I know of. We all have very colorful super tight jerseys whether our physiques permit this look or not... tight "stretchy pants" and socks with any variety of picture or writing on them. Then there's the penis helmet. Having a red pair of shoes in the grand scheme of things seems somewhat understated.

That's the way things are here. Everyone is always looking to insult or find fault with something - not matter what it is.
If everyone around here trained as much as they mock - they would all be the Tour riders they think they are.

Red? Red? Look at the Turner or Competitive Cyclist ads right above your picture. THAT'S red. Now look at a University of Florida banner. See the resemblance to your shoes?
Not a bad looking design, and if they're actually red they might look okay. But in that picture they're burnt orange.

Those look brown on my screen. If they are truly red then they are probably a pretty sweet looking shoe.

hmm, I just recalibrated my monitor (with Monitor Calibration Wizard) and they still look burnt orange.
They look good like that, I don't know if I would like them as much if they were bright red.
I get html color code #92401B from the "red" on the toe of the shoe (or R146,G64,B27), and that is not very red. I think it's a bad picture.
