Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

See, I figure with the way I keep a blazing fast cadence while mashing a huge gear, (powered by my massive guads), the red shoes will give the impression of flames coming off the pedals. And flames, as we all know kids, are cool.

Getting critical over red cycling shoes seems a bit silly. After all... as much as I love cycling... we are the most ridiculously dressed athletes I know of. We all have very colorful super tight jerseys whether our physiques permit this look or not... tight "stretchy pants" and socks with any variety of picture or writing on them. Then there's the penis helmet. Having a red pair of shoes in the grand scheme of things seems somewhat understated.

That's the way things are here. Everyone is always looking to insult or find fault with something - not matter what it is.

If everyone around here trained as much as they mock - they would all be the Tour riders they think they are.

Red? Red? Look at the Turner or Competitive Cyclist ads right above your picture. THAT'S red. Now look at a University of Florida banner. See the resemblance to your shoes?

Not a bad looking design, and if they're actually red they might look okay. But in that picture they're burnt orange.

Adjust your monitor. I have them in my hands... they are RED. Traditional red. Like Superman red.

Those look brown on my screen. If they are truly red then they are probably a pretty sweet looking shoe.

I just got off an hour trainer ride. They feel great to me because of the nice wide toe box. If you have a narrow foot then SIDI is your shoe. And they are VERY red. Sweet shoe.

hmm, I just recalibrated my monitor (with Monitor Calibration Wizard) and they still look burnt orange.
They look good like that, I don't know if I would like them as much if they were bright red.
I get html color code #92401B from the "red" on the toe of the shoe (or R146,G64,B27), and that is not very red. I think it's a bad picture.

I assure you... they are as RED as RED can be. Matches the very RED TIME logo which is well known for being RED. Red shoes.... red shoes... red shoes...
