I originally had a black post. Looked funny, imo.

Here are some more pictures of the crank set. It is a Campagnolo Super Record 170mm crank, pantographed, drilled, milled and painted by Poretti. The original standard SR crank that I bought from an ex NYC bike shop owner (whom I purchased the frame and a lot of components from) was defective. He sent this one as a replacement and said I would be pleasantly surprised!

Columbus Spirit Niobium
Bought this one about 2 months ago for 200 pounds. Quite a deal for a serotta, I think.
Still has to be build up with decent components but it's already a beauty as it is
This frame is very light - Lightest I ever holded.

I think the only thing Italian is the frame... oh well, I still love her.

No pictures yet because the frame hasn't arrived, but here's the build. It's mostly Shimano with some other Japanese stuff along with a bit of US and Italian. Sorry Campy fans

I keep on waiting for the bikes to get uglier so mine doesn't get shown up by all of your beauties But, I don't think that is going to happen...
I'm pretty sure I've been meaning to post a picture in this thread, but haven't done so yet. (If I have, my apologies).
Here is my contribution, a 1991 Tommasini Diamante:
ps - how do I get the image to be less fuzzy? It is clear and crisp at flickr, but shows up kind of hazy here. Do I just need to resize it? Thanks.

SteveJ: I've seen your bike many times, but I still always get a smile seeing a bike that pretty!
steelblue: Lovely Colnago! You did a nice job with the bar tape/hoods/tire/saddle coloring. I think they all work really well together, and that paint job is great. The white band on the downtube really shows off the blue well.
iab: Phew, incredible bike and very nice build up.
well biked: It's your bike and it is still a beauty, but in my opinion it was nicer in the white scheme. I do like the Miche seat pillar a lot though

Ha...this is awesome! I love that you simply appreciate the nice bicycles of other people. Very cool. I have two Italian steel bikes, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate and enjoy LOTS of these other bikes! Keep 'em comin'! So many bikes that I just want to grab and take out for a 50 mile spin

My wife's Tommasini. Her legs are so long in relation to her torso getting anything not custom to fit is a problem. NOS
