Cateye V3- Yay or Nay

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cateye V3- Yay or Nay

I need a wireless speed/cadence/HR computer. The Cateye V3 seems to be the least expensive option. Don't need GPS-I live in Salt Lake, it's almost impossible to get lost here.

Mine works pretty good.

It has a pretty strong signal... enough that I can use it on the front of the tandem with the sensor on the chain stay.

I like mine. It occasionally loses its connection with the sensor after stopping for a while, but the reconnection process is quick.

I had a V3 and loved it. I gave it to my wife when I got a Garmin. It's a nice little computer and works very well. The only problem I ran into was the heart rate strap ate batteries--I would have to replace it every six to eight weeks or so.

I have the Cateye V3 and I really like it. Overall it was easy to set up and the HRM is accurate. No complaints.
