Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Runway is unidirectional... meaning you land and takeoff in opposite directions.

Its 1722ft with an 18.5% grade. The good news is... its at around 6000ft, so you have plenty of room to dive and pick up speed

I can see the shifter cables, I'm not sure why you can't. They are silver after all. It does look to be Shimano. I'm also curious about the missing spokes and chain half. I guess you just have to give some things up.

Eva was obviously trying to shave some weight off her ride. Duh.

Look a little closer, where the exposed shifter cables meet the headtube. No housing from the HT to the bars.

Very few curvy roads around here...on the other hand, there's an add in the new Bicycling mag for PI clothing I think....it has some pretty nice curves.
