moved house, found my cycling heaven... pix
we just moved from our little land-locked town to a little seaside town, and whilst being close to the beach and the prospect of all those japanese ladies in their bikinis come summer is terribly nice, well, being a roadie, i have to say that the it`s the roads that are taking my breath away...
did a 100km loop today up along the coast and then inland, and saw about 15 cars the whole time, once outside of the town. just very beautiful... i am a lucky boy.
and lots of mountains...
and yes, i know the bottle looks crap, please forgive me...

thanks guys for the comments!
the black `bottle` is my tool kit holder - you can get them in any shop.
wheelset is great, really like these wheels, speeds increased all-round. got a great deal too.
ok, more pics in the summer - of the roads...

Uh, maybe not. Japanese women seem to have great trouble in the bikini-line maintenance department.

Totally cool. Are you Japanese or a transplant? Give us some of the back story.

i`m english, i moved out here originally 6 years ago, after a few years of travelling and living in various places, colorado, thailand, hong kong... i`d always wanted to come out to japan, seemed such a fascinating country. funny, i expected bright lights and drunk salarymen, when in fact i originally ended up in a fishing village with a population of about 2,000.
work-wise i came on a working visa, to teach english, though thankfully now i only teach about 8 hours a week. i`m on a spousal visa now, as my wife is japanese. and i started a web bike store recently and it`s been going ok, so lots of time for training!
