Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Powercranks...anyone use them?

Does anyone here use Powercranks for training? How do you like them? Useful? Worth the money? Anyone else have any thought?

Thanks!

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

Yes and commuting too.

They are best and simplest training/racing/cycling tool I've ever come across.

Absolutely.

The opposing view is no, they're not worth it and are a waste of money.

99 pages of that back and forth to follow.

In this long but interesting thread, you can see how someone touting Powercranks tried to alter Powertap data files to demonstrate improvements that didn't exist.
