Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

question for cat-eye wireless computer users

i have one, dont know remember the model number or anything, but here the ? : is there a low battery warning icon or light, or will it just die suddenly when the battery voltage drops below the critical point?

i am in a mileage dual with one of my buddies, and i'm curious about my odometer integrity???

On mine the "1" as in bike "1" will start flashing to let me know the battery is running low. I have the micro-wireless.

I have the double wireless model. It will retain the data long enough to change a battery. Not sure how much grace time it gives you. It took me about 5 minutes and the odometer was still correct.

I also have the Micro Wireless. I didn't notice anything flashing on mine when the battery was dying, but that's not surprising as I'm not terribly observant. I noticed mine was dying when the screen was practically clear (and by clear, I mean blank) when viewing it at an angle. Mine died completely before I could get the battery changed, but fortunately, I knew the mileage, so I just plugged it in. No big whoop.
