spin classes are actually pretty good.
I fit it into my weekly schedule, its as hard or as easy as you want it to be.

I'm actually considering doing them, now that I won't be racing for a while. It seems to be a great way to get the tough workout without having to train like you're racing.

I went to a spin class a few winters ago. The only thing that was interesting were all the fit women in little shorts getting out of the saddle and "climbing". Pervish, I know, but I had to stay interested somehow. Other than that, it bored the piss out of me.

do people in spin classes go clipless or are you stuck with the pedals the machines have?

Why would you go to a spin class in Spring? Find a hard group ride and be done with it.
