Wheel build in Boston, Harris Cyclery or other?
Has anyone in the Boston area had a pair of wheels built at Harris Cyclery? I need a set built on my 93' Campy Chorus hubs. The original wheel were built with Omega 19 rims at a vintage bike place in Needham that is no longer there. They built them really strong and the rear was built crossed on the gear side and radial on the other. I guess this type of build works well on these hubs. They lasted like 15 years of hard riding. Anyway I'm blabbing. Please let me know if Harris or another place in Boston might be better.

What's the name of the shop in Watertown that Peter Mooney works out of? Bet they could do a bang-up job.

He works out of Belmont Wheelworks. I used to frequent that shop but have stood at the front counter waiting to buy something and being ignored too many times and for too long so I don't go there anymore. I've had much better experiences at Harris and I have a feeling they will do a good job but thought I'd get some opinions from anyone that has had wheels built there.
Thanks,
Bob

Honestly, nearly any bike shop can build a decent pair of wheels. Then again, so can you. You can do it yourself. There is an excellent book to help you, by Jobst Brandt, and there are plenty of sources of information here on the web. I'll help if you like.
