Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Where's my popcorn? I don't want to miss the part where the person takes the thing on the internet too seriously.

I'd rather not inflate his ego any more than it already is.

marsh283,
Thanks for the post and the link. I laughed out loud reading Zack's article. Tried to e-mail him but my Outlook is down for a few hours for repairs and updates. I plan on inviting him to visit me any time. This really will be fun sampling the e-mails shot back to him. I too have really stupid thoughts from time to time. Difference is, I try not to share them in writing in a public forum. Hey, wait a minute.

Good. Do it. And when you do, hand them a copy of this editorial as the reason why.

Satire or not( I vote not-it reads more like sophmoric jackassery) what we have her is a college student who rights like a highschooler. And he has an article in the newspaper. So instead of getting all angry we should pity this poor fool who will no doubt enter a moribund economy with no practical skills and a presently useless degree in business. And we should mourn for the state of our nations educational system.

I'm pretty sure it's not satire. Nobody is stupid enough to attempt to write satire this poor. People that stupid don't even know what satire is.

And it's not an letter to the editor or something. This is an actual article, by a staff contributor.

"Zack Colman is the State News opinion writer."

This guy is a piece of work.

I agree with you; but as a general rule, if you're going to call someone a poor writer you should make sure you don't have grammar errors.
