I am very indecisive
I lost my shortest socks, then I lost my mid length socks so I ended up using my longer socks for a bit. The tricolor is kinda growing on me

Actually ... if it is cold it does matter. One of the best ways to keep your feet warm is to keep your lower legs warm. Be the duck!!

In cold weather I wear a thin polypro sock, then a heavy wool knee length sock, then my tights and shoes, and then booties. That combo keeps my feet nice and toasty in cool-cold conditions.

Has coddling tendencies.
That's a rather personal question to ask, and quite frankly I'm surprised the auto censor didn't catch this before...
Oh wait, I misread the thread title. I now see the word was "sock" length. That's different. Ankle is my preference.

for visual aesthetics, I prefer the lowest for me. I like the medium in old pics a la Merckx era.

I'm not sure if I'm more dumbfounded by the presence of this thread, or the fact that it's gone 2 pages.
