Oakley M Frame Pro vs Radar
I have worn Oakley's M Frame Pro's for many years and they are my favorite sunglasses. Unfortunately my lenses are getting old and scratched. I'd like to try some of the newer lens options, but Oakley hasn't made many new lenses for the M Frame lately.
I still have many options for the M Frame and may just buy a new VR28 hybrid lens as that is my favorite for riding and driving in every condition except the absolute cloudiest and brightest.
I am considering the new Radars. My only hesitation is I like the M Frame Pro's because they stay on my head, they have no hinges. I believe the Radars do not have a Pro version that has no hinges.
Anyone with experience with the Radar and M Frame Pro want to comment on their impression of each?
Thank you.

i've had m frames, pro m frames and now use radars. m frames are good but once you wear radars you never go back. more comfy, better field of vision and feels more solid on the face.
good luck!

I'd agree on all points and add that the lenses, with the hydrophobic coating and all that, are very nice. I picked up the photochromatic ones and they're the only glasses I wear riding now. No need for multiple lenses for different conditions, and when the weather clears up mid day I don't have to worry about picking the right lenses for the whole day.

+1 on Radars with Photochromic lenses. They are so good, I can even ride them at night! The hydrophobic lenses are okay, but I have to re-treat them with anti-fogging cream.

not sure if this matters at all to you, but you can wear radars casually without looking like too much of a geek. maybe just a "super sporty techy" kinda guy.
its hard to wear m-frames on the street without giving off a "i'd rather be at the gun range" or "i'd rather be lance armstrong" vibe

I was curious about the Radars as well, but I think I am going to wait until May when the Jawbones come out. They look pretty cool.

I love my radars. The only possible benefit of the m frames is they have a slightly larger lense (although you can get different lenses for the radars)
