Easton EA70 wheelset vs Easton EA90 SLX
I know it might be hard to compare these wheel given the EA90 SLX are almost double the cost (I am only looking at the 09 version, not the 08's on closeout everywhere). I am a non racer, but do weekly local shop rides, charity rides, handful of centuries a year. My rides are usually somewhat hilly (Seattle) I have a pair of Easton EA70's that I run now, I'm quite happy with them, but have a chance to buy some 09 SLX wheels at a great price at my LBS.
There is a 250g weight difference (SLX is much lighter) The SLX also comes with hybrid ceramic bearings.
The EA70 has a rim profile of 26mm and the EA90 SLX has the front rim profile at 21mm and the rear at 26mm.
I am not overly heavy 6' 190lbs.
Would I notice any difference? Would I see any gains or benefits in this upgrade?

Maybe there should be, because at 185lbs I've already broken a rear wheel spoke and had the front wheel go out of true on my EA70s, at <1 year and <3000km. No way I'd run the SLX wheels for the everyday kind of riding the OP describes.

My guess is that if you like to climb out of saddle and if the SLX's are more flexible than your EA70's, the latter having more spokes and deeper rims, then you'd have a performance penalty.
Even if you sit and spin, I can't see how a 250g manufacturer advertised weight difference would change much given that the bike & accessories & rider have to collectively weigh somewhere over 210#.
If you're being offered a good deal, then just let it go.
