sometimes household tools work better then what is on the market. I have used my share of whack tools to get certain jobs done.

I'm trying to envision the high-dollar aerospace carbon glue removal tool you were expecting to see.
I imagine it would look alot like a butter knife.

Those of you who keep mentioning the butter knife, open your eyes. It looks like the guy is not wearing any clothes, that is what the thread is about.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you're so worked up about that on your own time.

Not workplace safe! Either it's terribly hot over at the Giro or the Astana dress code doesn't apply to everyone. Or maybe like the racers...he's protesting and hence won't wear Astana logos?

Dang it! Left the butter knife in the galley.
Don't think nakedness would work here though.

Do you want him to get rim glue on his clothes?
How do you think I keep ski wax off of my clothes in the winter?

Are you all so used to seeing naked bike mechanics that you thought I was talking about the butter knife?!
Full disclosure [sic]: I fully support his wrenching unsupported. Do thy thing shall be the way of the wrench.

everyone is mentioning the butter knife because your post is all about the butter knife. you just mention he is naked in the title which he obviously isnt. thread fail.

my immediate thoughts when I saw that picture were (in order):
1. There's going to be a thread about this on BF
2. I wonder how long it will be till the last super-popular "shop-apron" thread gets dragged back out?

speaking of....umm....questionable attire......wasn't their a few mooners on the side a few stages ago (Tuesday's I think) at the Giro? I only remember seeing them flash the breakaway.....
My SO won a door prize that she wasn't present for, the knives are like an Arabian sword. Kinda like: but a bulb at the end. It works quite well as a scraper for small radiuses.
growing up, we called them screwdrivers.....I think we only had one or two flat or straight ones.....
