Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shipping a frameset, tips?

I have a couple framesets I'm selling on Ebay and will obviously need to ship these. I got a couple bike boxes from the LBS, both framesets are wrapped in some thin styrofoam like sheets I get at work and the dropouts have the spacers in them. Should I fill with packing peanuts? Any other tips? Thanks.

Fill with bubblewrap, get it tight and nice. Haven't shipped any myself but 2 frames and 1 bike have shown up like that and in very good condition.

Use an old box to make cardboard strips as wide as your bike box and 1-2 feet long. Roll or fold them up to make crush spacers. Tape them in place in the middle of the box.
