Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes, tighten it some more. That bolt is designed to be torqued quite a bit - instructions say 20 Nm (14 lbft).

+1 get a torque wrench. I have had several LOOKs and currently have a 595...I've never had an issue with the Fizik Arione/Ergo post combo....I've always torqued it to the proper specification with good result.

Err... generally any kind of "cracking" noise when tightening carbon. I'd inspect the post -- or better yet, ask your LBS to do a check -- to make sure that you didn't cause any damage. Cracking / splintering your seatpost on a ride is definitely not something you want to experience!

The head end of the Ergopost is pretty damned solid. You can torque it down quite a bit more than your average carbon bit.

Anyway, I have a Kium Arione attached to an Ergo4, and it works fine. Have you tried applying some of that anti-slip paste? It might help.
