Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Add anything unique to your bike?

Like dice hanging from a rear view mirror?
Little dancing hula girl on the dash board?
I've got a decal of my nickname on the top tube, which I got from bikenames.com.

i coloured the white stitching on my saddle purple with a fabric marker matching the bottle cages. an homage to my wife. her favourite colour is purple and she is gracious enough not to be overly concerned with my increasing weekly mileage.

Me? Nothing too unique I suppose, but I do hang a cork on the back of my saddle.

I have a small black panther attached to my handlebar bag. You can see him off to the right.

Plus I've got pins from places I've been on the front of my handlebar bag.

I have an Ubuntu sticker on the drive side of my Trek, and two USA Cycling stickers on the non-drive side.

I also have a USA Cycling sticker on the non-drive side of my Giant, and some scratches on its drive side.

Hardly "unique" but I have a pink breast cancer wristband on the stem of one bike and a black HTFU on on another.

Looks good. But you need to add the death-head skull as well.

Wife has got Charlie Brown on her bike. She does over 3000 miles a year so lil Chuckie can get pretty dirty back there!

I've got a Roland GX-24 Vinyl sign maker with every color vinyl under the sun and I've often thought of customizing my bikes but haven't settled on anything concrete to do yet. I've thought about my name or something motivational but I fear some bike I own will be a super classic some day and it's no longer original. Stupid I know.
