Decals or No? (an aesthetics poll)
Ok. I just got these Reynolds dv46 ul tubulars.
08 decals. I got to ride them for a little bit yesterday. They spin up so nice and they deliver a comfy responsive ride. But there was no sealant in the tires, so I pulled them off, filled 'em with sealant, and am now in the process of cleaning the rims and regluing . But they should be ready for the Cal State Championship race next weekend.
The problem is that they REALLY don't match with my bike frame at all and I feel a bit overwhelmed with name-branding when they are on the frame (RIDLEY, SRAM, QUARQ, REYNOLDS = too much!):
It is primarily the yellow on the wheels that clashes with the blue.
So, as I see it, I have three options here:
1. Remove the yellow, leave the 'REYNOLDS'.
2. Remove the yellow and the 'REYNOLDS' to leave a purely black rim.
3. OMG, are you crazy? Don't remove anything from the rim!
Which would you do?

I don't really like decals at all... especially on wheels. However, removing them, as ridiculous as it sounds could lower the resell value later on down the road... Or at least make it a little more difficult to sell. Don't ask me, ask the guys who think it's a big deal.
I'd personally remove all decals aside from the ones on my bike.

Personally, I think all the logos make bikes seem all "professional racer"-ish...which is cool to me.
Sometimes it gets overboard though, but your bike looks sweet. Just take a pick with those new tires, and photoshop black over the tire decals so really see. I could do that for you in 5 minutes.

my vote's to remove the yellow, then slap them on the bike to see if you like them with the white logo's. if not, remove the white too.
but personally, i'd probably keep the white logos.

Should you be a racer type.. The spinning of the wheel with all that "flair," It might disarm your opponents. ?

Take them all off if they aren'tclear coated or something silly... I like the clean look.
Don't worry about resale, buy parts for your own use.

Before you do anything with the decals, fix your saddle angle.
