top 10 in fantasy Giro
Well I pulled out the 10th place finish. Should have picked Diluca on my squad. How did everyone else do?

In 9th at the moment. Have they calculated the results for the Stage 21 and the overall GC?

Meh. 17th. Vandevelde crashed out early and Sastre never quite got into position.
The highlight of the Giro (and the fantasy Giro) for me this year was Scarponi winning Stage 6 on my birthday. I got out super early for 35 miles and got back in time to watch almost all of the coverage, most of it with my twin 4 year old daughters. I had never really watched cycling with them before and found myself explaining breakaways, "staying away", the chase.
I guess it was fun for them, because they now like to watch cycling and are now Scarponi fans. I guess I am now too, though I never was before. I can't bring myself to tell them he's a doper. I don't have a copy of the "EPO and YOU" intro to cycling storybook for kids.
The fantasy lineup did create that secondary plotline that makes watching the live coverage and reading the news after a little more exciting. I'll probably do something similar for the TdF, hopefully with a more impressive result.

Terrible. Vandevelde crashed. Accidentally picked Julian Dean thinking he was Tyler Farrar (really, really dumb). Finished near the bottom.

Ended up 6th, not bad considering that 3 of my picks, VdV, Augustyn, and Voigt got me a total of 65 points. Made up for it picking pellizotti and a couple good picks. Im looking forward to doing this again for the TdF
