i think you're off on two counts.
First, you associate suffering with group rides. As far as I know, you can suffer by yourself, too. Seems like I recall a photo or video of Lance riding up the mountain by himself.

    Secondly, you equate this statement:
"Arrogant, mean-spirited, and inconsiderate cyclist are all too common now. Automobile drivers are enemies. Group rides spill over into traffic and oncoming bike lanes on a regular basis. Right of way is claimed by the fastest."
with fast riders, with racers, with athletic people, with suffering people, whatever. In fact, that paragraph describes rude people. I have been on a ride that probably averaged 6 mph that fits this description perfectly. It had no connection to roadies, to suffering, etc.- it had to do with lack of courtesy and attitude. I've heard of similar complaints from Critical Mass rides, which are noted for slow speeds, etc.
"be careful this rando stuff is addictive and dan's the 'pusher'."

I say it's just one pancake. Ever make pancakes with egg and milk? If the grill is hot enough, the thick batter begins cooking quickly, so when you flip it over, the top cooked side will shift the pancake center over a few centimeters, so that when it's fully cooked on both sides, you'll often end up with something that looks like what you see in the picture - the dual pancake optical effect.

Another thing to consider is that bunnies don't like picture posing for very long, so it would be difficult to get two pancakes on top of it's head before it would hop away.

You seem to really know your pancake bunny photography. I'm impressed.

Not at all. To each his own; let it play out.

A few centimeters? That seems like a lot. Are you sure the stove is level?

So I'm new to these forums. I've been lurking, trying to absorb what I can and separate the fact from the fiction.
Reading this thread is like watching a freaking car wreck.

(It took me several days to learn such useful terms as HTFU, FTW, and Fred. Only to find out, -I- was a Fred! Now I'm eliminating as much fredliness as I can.)

Thanks BF. I can't leave, I can't look away, and I'm not learning anything.

Finally a subject for which I am the BF Technical Expert! I've reviewed the picture of the bunny and can confirm that it has at least two pancakes on its head. You can clearly see the even browning on both surfaces, and pancakes only brown that evenly on the side they are initially poured on.
