Definitely the overseas highway in the Keys, is that the start of the original 7 mile bridge?

This is the best I can do. Sigh. It's Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Very nice roads in that area. The Horsey 100.

Not the 7 mile bridge, but it's part of the original railroad bridge built by Flagler. This shot is somewhere around milepost 14.

My friend snapped this pic of me climbing through the tea plantations of Uji. Unfortunately 1 km up the road turned to mud. :(

Nice. If you're interested, there's an excellent book about the construction of the original rail route called "Last Train to Paradise". I read it a few years ago and really enjoyed it, definitely made me appreciate the route a bit more when I'd drive to Key West.

I hate windmills. With a passion exceeded by cell towers. I love cell phones though. A conundrum.

I hate windmills too. But I like electricity and hate global warming. A conundrum, as well.

Too many of them and we'll have no wind left.

First the passenger pigeons, then the bison, then the fish, now the wind.
