@Dan333SP
Isn't that by Cherokee Rd, down near Riverside Drive and the "Pony Pasture" in Richmond, VA? Looks very familiar.

Empty if you don't count the frozen fallen tree blocking the way.

Any of you you have ridden Zwift's Richmond 2015 course will probably recognize this. This is facing the other direction, but it's the relatively new Capital Trail heading in to the city. The race course runs the other way along the road to the right.

What an excellent thread and absolutely lovely pics! Thanks!
One question - do people carry cameras on the rides, as not all seem to be smartphone pics?

I sometimes use my iPhone, but I don't like to use it while riding as dropping it would be really bad. I have a couple of point and shoots I use. I really like my Panasonic LX 5 as it has a wide lens that lets me shoot people next to me easier. It also have pretty hing quality for a P&S. I also have an old Fuji Finepix point and shoot I take sometimes just because it's smaller.
But I like to think my iPhone photos don't look like iPhone photos too....
