How much did you spend on your main whip?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

^ you spent $325?

This sport seems to be very addictive. I just bought my Felt F75 a few months ago and I already want to take it all apart and build it up better.

hmmmm....lets see...

$20 Raleigh Marathon that was relegated to garage rafter duty for 20 years.

I needing to make it mine.....and usable...
$25 tires
$10 tubes
$30 new spokes for rear plus old hub laying around from trashed wheel
$25 8spd cassette
$8 bar wrap
$38 RSX brifters and derailleurs
$12 computer
$30 pedals
$34 105 crank
$15 chain
$20 cables
$15 bottom bracket
$25 brakes
$30 seat
$20 seatpost

$357 for a smooth-riding steel bike that's somewhat modernized but still got some vintage appeal. (all original parts are boxed up and stored if needed). Although it's a bit heavy, it goes down the road really well. Got me into road biking and should keep me here a while linky to pic

Yes, it's a common term for your car these days, from urban slang.

I think it comes from "my car's so awesome it'll give you whiplash." Or something.

one million dollars. gold frame, diamond drops, camel silk infused with pearls for the saddle. and the

wheel? well the wheels, indeed. my wheels are actually human legs. thats right. over 100,000 kenyans inside of extraterrestrial-based compounds. my brakes are made of danger and kryptonite

and my shifters are lightning.

my headlight for is the 1/3 sun and 2/3 amazing.

its smells of clive owen bathed in luxury and lathered in perfection.
