Buy the one that you can confirm is made by the most experienced builder. If the frame is made in China be sure it has been checked for defects and check the warrantee for replacement procedures if it cracks under normal riding conditions.

i have a madone 4.5 and love it, its not the most comfortable for long rides however, it has a pretty aggressive geometry (same as the higher ends madones).

Do they come with the same componentry, wheels, handlebars, seatpost, and other items?

The Giant. They seem to have the best manufacturing, control of it and quality.
The Trek 4.5 should be replaced by the 2.3, aluminum frame but better overall.
The madone 5.2 is the start of the good stuff in the madone range.
Specialized, I'm not quite sure of.....I have a London langster (08 model) and hate it.
It feels and rides cheap although looks cool.

If you like the fit...get the Roubaix. I love mine and though people are hard on Specialized as they are a marketing giant...they do make darn good bikes. I have had two Roubaix's and have really enjoyed both. And tho I have never rode a London Langster, and therefore not challenging Thinline's remarks, I can tell you I have a specialized mountain and road bike and the quality of craftmanship, the ride, and the performance on my stumpy and Roubaix are top notch. In fact, the quality of build and attention to detail of my stumpy seems to be better than bikes from Gary Fisher, Cannondale, and Santa Cruz that my friends and family rides. Dont get me wrong, they are all built solid, however, the stumpy is built solid with very nice refinements and touches to its craftsmanship. The same distinction is not as definitive with road bikes as alot of the bikes i have seen seem to pay close attention to detail and craftsmanship with c-dale, giant, Trek, Look, and several others with very well built and refined bikes.
If you are looking for a comfortable bike for long rides and good performance get the Roubaix...you wont look back and regret. If you say darn the torpedos and want a more aggressive position and a sacrifice some comfort (not alot) for performance, then get a tarmac. Both are Specialized, both are great bikes, and you can not go wrong with either.

Thanks guys for all your respond, i have rode all 3 bikes again today for the final decision and to me the trek is the most responsive but it is also the roughest on the road, then it comes to the specialize which was better but still kind of stiff. The last one is the giant which is the most comfy and road forgiving. I have decided that since this is my first bike and i doubt that i will actually do any kind of racing i will go with the giant. Also i realized that the giants will come with clip less peddles which will save me some money. Then also i can follow hocker's advice and use the extra to get myself some better accessories or upgrading the wheels and tires. thanks you all for helping me on deciding on my fist bike.

I'd look at the Neuvation carbon with Ultegra for around $1,600 or else the Performance carbon Ultegra for less, sometimes a lot less when on sale or with new membership.

There is the "Pro fit" and the "performance" fit. Just opt for the performance.
Where did you get that? The 4.5 is going to be just as stiff as a 5.2 or 6.5, Trek meant to do this so the only difference is going to weight. Sure it isn't the stiffest, lightest, or most comfortable, but why focus on only one of these qualities? The Madones have a great balance of all three.

stole your bike
They're all good bikes in that the quality is decent and none of them are going to weigh 30lbs, the question is which of their geometries is better suited for you and what preferences you have in terms of components. Comparisons like this between relatively similar bikes in terms of price point can be moot as far as quality goes, now if you're comparing between a Walmart bike and any of these then that's easy. Go out and try all three and see which one feels better and has the component and wheel set up you like best.

You can get a set of Easton EA90 SLs from Bike Nashbar for $499. If you are under about 170lbs you might buy the EA90SLXs for fifty bucks more. A lot of people like those wheels.

One of them must get your blood flowing more than the other. Pick the one you think is the coolest, the one that will get you riding. When I saw the CAAD9 in the LBS I knew I wanted that bike, that was before all the hooplah on BF. I got the bike and ride at least 4 days a week.

Get the Roubaix Comp. With the rebate on it going on now, you're getting a sick frame and full 105. Bang for your buck, that'll be the one.
