Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shinybikes vs. Ribble Experience

I'm about to pull the trigger on a centaur group and wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on Shinybikes vs. Ribble. I've used ribble before to purchase wheels and everything turned out great, but they don't have the entire group in stock so i'll have to purchase it piece meal. Shinybikes has the entire groupset for about the same price, but i've never used them before. Anyone have any feedback on shinybikes? Thanks!

lickbike.com is over $300 more for the same group so I'm going to go with either Shiny or Ribble. Thanks for the advice, though.

Got a groupset from Shiny, for export, some months back; no probs. Also look at Total:

I've never done biz with Ribble but get spam from them frequently; so blacklist.

I bought my group from Shinybikes.

Don't expect a receipt or any kind of email confirmation after your purchase. I waited a few days and then sent them email just to be sure everything was fine. They took a few days to reply and then said everything was fine. This is just a pet peeve of mine, so take it for what it's worth. I like to get an email confirmation.

It took a little while for things to get here, but it was cheap and when the box arrived, it was well packed and everything was in perfect condition...and there was a receipt in the box

Shiny are good. I did get an email order confirmation from them, too.
