I deal Edge as well as Reynolds wheels and I can tell you that I am very impressed with Edge. Here are my reasons.
1 The quality of the rims are much higher than any other company.
2 They cast their spoke holes instead of drill.
3 Their rims are stronger, stiffer, and lighter than their competitions.
4 Their customer service is the best.
I train on some 68 clinchers and I am 190. They are the stiffest and fastest riding wheels that I have ever been on. If you considering buying a set of carbon wheels Edges are by far the best.

How do you match them against the Reynolds Assault in weight and pricing... ?? I think they are heavier and pricier,I want to put Reynolds or maybe an Edge set on my next bike if the things mentioned above makes sense..

The Assault rim weighs 451 grams and it is 46mm deep.
The Edge 45c weighs 440 grams and it is 45mm deep.
The big advantage of the 45s would be the increased spoke tension allowed on the wheels.
This increased tension makes the wheels build stiffer and last longer.
You can also get the Edge in different drillings in order to perfect the build for your weight.
The advatage of the Reynolds would be its price. I am not sure where you are planning on purchasing the Assaults but you will save about 1k.
If you do get the Assaults make sure to have them professionally tensioned. The biggest problem Reynolds wheels have is they come from Reynolds far under tensioned which leads to very flexy wheels and spoke failures.

I am going to use Edge Carbon Clinchers for the tandem I am building.
Edge rims are the fav at the WW forum. The more knowledgeable someone is about wheels, the more they like Edge rims.

Thanks,I think that for a 1K in savings I will stay with the Reynolds and have them properly inspected about tension, nowadays if I'm lucky I can run into a deal on Reynolds just about 1K for the set, that is a lot of wheel for the money...

I got to borrow some Edge 38 clinchers for a week earlier this season. Raced a crit with them. Awesome, awesome, awesome wheels. When I can afford a fancy set of wheels (maybe in a year or so), PTapped Edge 45s are high on my list for consideration. I know... a guy... around here who deals with Edge, he might be willing to ship south. We'll see.
ETA: Reynolds Assaults are also high on my list, though of course they don't come with a PM, which is a strike against them.

I did not win the crit, but I spent plenty of time OTF. It hardly matters; I wasn't there to win. And PM = power meter. A more generic term for a watt-measuring device. Of course, it could also stand for PowerMeter, which is an SRM trademark, probably.

You can get Reynolds wheels built up with PTs from a handful of builders. Unfortunately you can not get the Attack or Assault rims. Reynolds does not sell those rims to builders.

Check https://www.wheelbuilder.com for prices from a top wheelbuilder, I have two sets from him and very pleased. I also believe forum member psimet builds wheels but I have never ordered from him.
