What's wrong with Motobecane?
There are some nice good deals on bikesdirect but everyone here seems to make fun of them, I don't really see why.. If someone could tell me that would be good. Thanks.

Uh, BS?
No offense, but this has been covered to DEATH a zillion times already. Google it if you want as well - also covered a zillion times.
Normally I'm all for BF repeat questions, but Motobecane is like a firecracker topic, and may be left best to searching since these threads go on forever once they start.

lol. I love that picture and that blog about the frame that crapped out.
BD is a decent choice if you're looking to get into road cycling or you're on a really limited budget. However their...unappealing color schemes and cheap generic frames seem to attract a lot of flak. The names used on their bikes come from formerly famous bike manufactures that sold off their naming rights (when they presumably went belly up).

The OP's question should have been how to use the search function........ Not being able to find something about Motobecane on the forums is just well................

To the OP, I love BD but OMG just search a little bit and you will find so much, and so much venom always comes out when BD gets mentioned.
