Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Picked up a new Felt F75

Tonight I picked up a new Felt F75. It has an excellent ride and the cornering exudes much more confidence over my Jamis. I always time myself around a 4.16 mile loop in my neighborhood. I was able to pull off one of my fastest times while still trying to figure out the 105 shifters/gears over the 2200/Sora type while also being a little sore from a long and very hilly ride yesterday. I know once I find the right gears and master this bike, my times will be consistantly better on this bike. The only few times I had a faster time was when it was completely calm and there was a 5mph wind tonight.

I also got my bike from BikeMasters. They are one of the best LBS in town in contrast to a certain bike shop in old Millard. Yes, definately a lot of bike for the money and I am very happy with the purchase.

IMHO, they are the best shop in town. Did you have your fitting from Dave yet? It made a huge difference! The bike is much more comfortable and now feels as if it is an extension of me.
