Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tire buying advice for Lemond Reno

Hey everyone... I have an '06 Lemond Reno that I like to ride on a trail near my house (mostly gravel and grass, lots of debris). Unfortunately the stock tires just don't hold up; I flat almost every other time I ride on this trail.

I'd like to replace the stock tires with these Specialized Infinity tires, but I'm not sure if the 700x28c size is going to work. There isn't much clearance between the tire and fork as it is.

Anyone have any advice for me on this? Is there a 700x25c tire I should be looking at instead?
