Cannondale Slice SI fork
Question about these forks; are all the ones labeled with an 'SI' the nicest forks Cannondale offers? I ask because I might want to pick one up to replace my 'Ultra' fork.
This fork is very similar to the one I'm interested in, but with white lettering for the 'SI' instead of gold.
Also, if anyone has upgraded their CAAD9 with one of these, do you know the rake and whether the crown diameter matches the headtube? Thanks!

That is the FINEST FORK Cannondale ever offered. Its even lighter than the Premium+ fork, by about 50g. I upgraded my 2009 CAAD 9 with the same fork and it came out to 297g cut.
That fork you have pictured came from a 2004 Six13 Team Issue. TIME-Sport in France painstakingly hand-lays and molds these forks for Cannondale. The bi-directional, crosshatched carbon fiber 3K weave is even woven by hand by TIME in-house...not purchased pre-peg carbon sheets from Toray Industries. Thanks to high compression, heat molding- the fork is one of the stiffest, strongest, most precise steering forks ever made. A German bike magazine gave it high marks comparing it to forks made by Look(HSC-5SL), Storck(Stiletto), Reynolds(Uozo Comp), Easton(EC-90SLX) and Ritchey WCS(Carbon Comp).
The rake is 45mm and the crown diameter matches the CAAD 9 headtube PERFECTLY. Be sure to use a carbon compression plug(NOT STAR NUT) and an integrated headset crown race, torqueing down everything with a torque wrench.
I got mine for $75/shipped off eBay, slightly used. This fork will lighten-up your front end so much you'll have almost-telepathic steering precision and confidence inspiring downhill stability thats unmatched.
This upgrade ranks as the second BEST upgrade you can not only FEEL but notice immediately, behind the wheelset upgrade.

-3T Funda Pro - Pricey and creaky
-Edge Composites 2.0 - Too much flex, when out of saddle
-Easton EC90-SLX - 43mm rake made front wheel interfere with foot
-LOOK HSC-5SL - Pricey, noisy and twitchy
-Scott CR-1 Super Light - Hard to find, pricey but the lightest of them ALL(275g)
Its a shame TIME made these forks for Cannondale for the 2002-2005 model years ONLY...
