2010 Cannondale catalog posted
I'm a lurker here but I couldn't keep this to myself. I'm in the market for a 2010 caad9-5 or 9-4 I've been hunting for more info for a while. I'm glad some1 finally listed out the component details and more info on caad8's. and most important; a pic of caad9 in bbq. which basically settles it for me, I'm definitely going to order a 9-4 in bbq
the important page: https://www.greatlakescycling.com/pro...d-bike/page/6/
It was down all weekend but they got it up 2day; I already grabbed screen shots of everything caad before it crashes. enjoy.
If I lived near them they would have my business.

I like all the others colors besides this and red, and of course rival version has to have ugly colors.

From what I've seen the BBQ in the 9 4 looks really nice. IDK if I like the blue on the 9 5 or what the grey on the 9 5 looks like. If I can still snag an '09 I might try to do that. It comes with a new saddle on the 9 5, is that worth the extra $$? Will the extra money for the 9 4 be worth it? I've been riding a fuji from the 80s and am looking at a new road bike and will probably start racing next spring.

I put a down payment on the CAAD9-6 today. Shop owner said it would be an extra 100 bones for 2010 9-6. Sorta glad I stuck with the 09

The 2010 versions have the full carbon fork.
Well worth the extra 100 bones.
Mine was 1300 two years ago. That was without the full carbon fork.
Though it's full 105: Cranks, brakes, chain, cassette, etc.
105 doesn't come with a bb30 crank. Hence the FSA. Should be fine...

Ordered my 9 4 in red last week. I'll post pictures once I get the bike and have it built. Cannot waaaaaaaait
Interesting, the new 9 1 uses the latest Ultegra cassette... Why not the Dura Ace.... like almost every other part of the groupo.

So the question i have is what does the 9-4 weigh in at? Going to have to pick up some rival calipers before i buy the bike. Bummer it some with all sram with the exception of the calipers. Ack. Whats the cost of a frameset?

What I don't see is a very cheap entry level model that you can build up yourself. That was the fun part of buying my CAAD9-7. Swapping out the parts and making it my own.

the caad 8 is now entry level. Downgrade this year? Seems like it. The spread of bb30 is nice though.

The fact that you need to spend upwards of $2000 to get 105 components has me thinking that I will have my current bike for a LONG time.
unless of course I find a leftover someplace really cheap.

Just got an email from cannondale the 2010 CAAD9-4 comes in at 17.52 lbs for a medium. Not bad for the price point. New wheels and a couple other bits you can be down to 16 in no time.
