Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is there a noob section

So I basically have a few noob type questions that I have, and rather than asking them here and getting maybe 2 decent answers in a sea of facepalms and sarcasm, I'm just wondering if there's a section for that? The closest thing I've seen is the introduction section, and obviously, that's probably not quite the right answer.

Sea of facepalms...I love it.

BTW, just try a quick search and if you can't find then ask. What's the worst that can happen?

The Road forum is for noobs.

You might get the sarcasm that you expect, but many of them ain't any more sophisticated than you. It's like with tech support. The guys who barely know anything are the first ones to try to intimidate you with their knowledge...

The best tip is to use google to search BF instead of the search function. Just append "site:bikeforums.net" to your search query on google.

If you get 2 decent answers who cares if there is a sea of facepalms and sarcasm. And honestly, there are serious noob questions, and then there are stupid questions. Just don't ask stupid questions and you will be fine.
