Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

FFWD wheels

Anyone using Fast Forward ( https://ffwdwheels.com ) wheels? Or at least heard something good?

They are kinda pricy, and search button didn't really help.

I looked into them briefly because I saw a photo of them on a bike I'm keen on and they LOOKED rather hot - flashy-logo-itis. There's not a lot of info floating around that I found... They are available with DT Swiss components (hub, etc) which is a GOOD thing, and probably explains some of the higher pricing. Their regular hubs are reported to be "KT" (Kun Teng). Be aware of the hub quality of any wheel you buy...

Given the complete unavailability in North America, the lack of "reports from the field" on any number of bike forums, and the substantial price to order them from overseas etc, I decided to give them a miss at this time in favour of something else (TBD).

Make sure you are searching for "FFWD" as well as the model names, if you just search "Fast Forward" you may not have as much luck (sure you tried that... just figured I'd mention it)

cheers
