Obscure question on TruVativ Touro cranks

I have a 2006 Giant OCR3 [https://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/B...+x05&Type=bike] with TruVativ Touro cranks. I need to know if the chainrings are both 8 and 9 speed compatible or only 8 speed.

Edit: Answer found from Giant rep. It's 8/9 speed compatible.

it is compatible. specific speed chainrings are marketing bollocks.
