Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In a dilema between this 2 frames, can anyone who rides them before give me a review of both frames so that i can straighten out my thoughts. Thanks

Good value.

Have you seen this article? not really a review but the frames seem very similar.

Not trying to shill but maybe BD and Souls maybe worth a look at this price range.

I would go with the Lysnkey

i am using the soul destiny now, trying to get another bike so thinking of these 2 frames. Why the lynskey? I have seen the article but not much comparison between them. I prefer the finishing of the litespeed though. But the little details on the lynskey is very nice too.

I went with the Lynskey simply because I thought it looked better. Also I liked how the Lynskey deal is for the frame only as opposed to Litespeed's frameset deal. My LBS did not give me the option to just buy the Xicon frame only. Getting the lynskey gave me extra money to get a good fork and headset.

Thanks for the two video clips. I can really appreciate just how much cost, from mine to fabrication, is in a titanium frame.

Okie i have decide on the cooper, for my height 180cm(5'9"?). Which frame size is good for me. I am using a 110mm stem so which frame size would be comfortable and good for race. Thanks

I'm 5'6 with a 29.6 inch inseam and I chose the medium. I'm going to throw on a 110 stem on there and based on the measurements, it should fit nicely. Just as a reference I rode a Tarmac size 52 with a 120 stem and it was perfect. Really depends on your riding style I suppose. As far as just measuring the top tube, I'd say go for the M/L frame unless you have short legs for your height in which I'd go for the medium.

very nice! more pics please of both fully built Cooper and Xicons!

i upgraded from a caad 9 frame yesterday, i picked the Cooper over Xicon though I am told by the dealer the ride quality for both frames is similiar, the xicon you pay a little more for the mirror finish, will post pics once set up and all is complete, i am 5'10 with about 31-32 inseam and picked an ML size

How do you like the ride quality, not just from the frame but also from the HED? I am looking into getting a pair and was curious on some feedback.

Lynskey sold me an R230 for 1700 with the brushed finish and an alpha q fork about a month and a half ago. Maybe if you ask them they would still do it. They seemed exceptionally nice.
