Which fork? Alpha q GS20, or Edge 2.0?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Which fork? Alpha q GS20, or Edge 2.0?

which fork would you guys buy? both are about the same price, same weight, etc. this would be going on my caad9 I weigh 205lb.

I want to lean towards the Alpha as it's been around quite a bit longer, but the Edge products are top notch....

Edge, there's some reviews of their forks over at WW, plus the look hot.

I don't mind the ultra fork half as bad as the Shimano 105 stock wheels. Talk about boat anchors.
They're great for the trainer through!

I have the edge 2.0 on my Caad9 (got it painted to match). I really like the feel of it, plus it's pretty light.

Edge - I have yet to hear a negative review of them, and all their other work is super-awesome.
If you are going to spend more than $125, I can't think of any non-aero fork I'd pick over the edge 2.0

I got mine off a year old team frame (Successful Living). It was when they had a white/blue paint scheme. Since I was getting it painted white anyway, I didn't care. It was cheap, since no one wanted a white/blue fork, I guess.

Alpha uses a glued alu insert instead of the traditional plug. It works well but pretty much fixes your steerer length once installed. May or may not affect your decision. I don't know what Edge forks use.

Remember that the GS20 has about a 5mm longer height, and comes in some different rakes so that may affect your decision depending on what trail you are looking for.
