Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need bike stem

Visited my LBS today looking for a 90mm Bike stem. They had a EA 50 90 mm negative 6 degree but it was $50. I searched the internet for a while looking for one that was a bit cheaper. Any suggestions for a supplier?

Performance Bike, Bike Nashbar, eBay....just Google it and you'll get a lot of hits.

Happy to help. I like to save $$$. Add https://www.pricepoint.com/ to your buy list also, got a EC70 wing bar for $99 a while back, most wanted $200.

Added to my favorites. Heck I only spent $600 on the bike in almost new condition. Need to save everywhere I can.

$50 for an EA50? Yikes.

Picked up a pretty nice FSA OS-115 at CompetiveCyclist for $35 on sale recently. Used to be a huge Thomson fan, but I might be a FSA convert now...

Thinking back I think it was an EA70, but still $50? Like I said I got a EA50 delivered to my home in the size I actually wanted for $17.95. Then stem you bought looks really nice. Maybe someday I will look for better components, right now I am the heaviest thing on my bike. Lost 10 pounds, but I am still about 20 too big and my abs are pillow soft. That reminds me, gotta do my crunches.
