White hands and a new saddle...
Hey everyone, having a good summer? I've been getting lots of miles in, and one thing has been happening: tan arms from the upper bicep to my wrist. Bellow that - white. Bright white in contrast to my darker fore-arms. I have had a couple of people ask me whats up with that. Just funny looks usually, but I am used to that anyway (240#, shaved head, heavily tattooed lol)...
ok, now to my point, I am riding with a Ponza Power saddle on my Klein. Was great at first, however 900 miles later the padding on the nose is broken down, and the nose is pretty wide, too wide. There are tons of saddles out there, and I don't have the $$ to try them all. None of the LBS's offer any sort of "test" program, so - what is everyone riding? I shift my body position a lot when i am riding, and ride towards the nose quite a bit, and have decent size thighs so a narrower saddle sounds right. Any recommendations? Thanks, hope everyone is getting some nice riding in as the summer winds down. |
Gloves are meh.
Keep on ridin'. Maybe go to a tanning salon and wear a longsleeved shirt...:p |
"Who rides what saddle? A popularity contest should have a wide selection of members commenting on their saddles. Should be a starting point.
