Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Niterider Pro1200 or L&M Seca 900 Ultra

My L&M Arc died, and a refund was issued. Gotta love backcountry.com. Great customer service.

So now I'm shopping for a replacement... and choosing between a Niterider Pro1200 and a L&M Seca 900 Ultra.

The MSRP is more or less equivalent, but the niterider is around $100 cheaper on the street. Er, on the intrawebs I mean.

Both look to be "ultimate night training lights".

The Niterider has user programmable modes, which may seem gimmicky. But I have to admit, I often find myself scratching my head at the modes that lights come with. Like, why would I want THAT?

Anyone have experience with either?
