Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Riser Bar Suggestion

Hi,

I just bought my first road bike (an old 90's Bianchi Alfana) that came with a drop bar. I am new to road bike and would like to convert the drop bar to a riser bike to feel more comfortable. My shifter is in the tube so I just need a riser bar and brake handles. Please advise me which inexpensive riser bar is recommended for a beginner and what measurements shoul I be looking for. Im planning to convert the road bike to sort of a city/commuter bike.

Thank you.
