Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OK. Who out there has converted to Di2? Let's hear about how you like the new set up? Did you convert to full 7900 or use a different crank/cassette combination? Thanks!!!

well apparently they all love them, because they must still be out riding on them! well either that, or they are hundreds of miles from home, and the Di2 system broke, and they are stranded.....so i guess it could go either way.

i had a c-workers Nishiki limited (2009 ) with the Di2 set up .
i rode it for a few days -
all i can say is , it was a joy to ride .everything was spot on.
the whole ( di2 ) set was superb .
i want this set up . but first i must work with no pay for 1 year and that isnt going to happen . so i guess its back to reality .

test it , you wont regret it .
Cheers
T

Oh well.

It's not the actual Pcad Schwag that attracts them. It's the Pcad Schwagger.

Probably because only a few people have actually ridden Di2, and they already did their ride reports. Most people have never even seen it in person, it's pretty rare still.

Sort of like a car accident. People don't want to watch but they can't help themselves. Guilty as charged.

I've seen a few bikes in my local LBS' that have Di2 and are supposedly available for demo. I should just go try it out and report back.....unless of course Pcad is getting Di2 and that's his big 'reveal'....?
