Better non-carbon $380 tubular wheelset: Neuvation "R" or Ritchey WCS Protocol?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking for some non-carbon tubular wheels that won't break the bank.

i don't ride tubular but I'd imagine you could do a lot lighter and stronger with a custom build. Contact psimet.

Those both look like clinchers to me. Am I missing something?

Those are heavy.

You can get sub 1400 gram clinchers around the price range you're looking for.

A little more money for a lighter wheelset that uses clinchers...
