Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This is by far the best mapping site on the web, with no floating ads.

Wow great link buddy, this is a great tool to use - a lot better than some i've seen. And better yet it actually has Ireland, which some sites like these don't

Yes, aside from being a little rough around the edges, this site is the best I've found for tracking your routes and mileage. I've been loving it for the past couple weeks.

that's awesome

if you put it on "cycling" mode, it'll auto-route along the major MUP in my area.

It is nice. Not as smooth as maybe 'mapmyride' though.

Running the cursor along the elevation profile gives the instantaneous grade along the route. Cool!
According to this, there is a 21.9% section on Flagstaff Road West of Boulder.
I'm usually too busy gasping up there to watch the GPS, but I have noticed it read as high as 17%.

How do you add Waypoints? I like to add them so when I climb a hard climb I will know where the end is?

I find it maps much faster than mapmyride and doesn't bog down with a long route.
