Jersey for wet conditions

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Jersey for wet conditions

Now that the rainy season is about to start, I'm worried about water ruining my jersies. Has anyone found any good jersies that will still be good if I get them wet? Thx

They stopped making those jerseys that melted in rain, so you should be OK..

Seriously though, what about wool? And a jacket?

I keep hearing wool, but isn't water bad for that too? I suppose that's why they shear the sheep since it would otherwise get screwed up if they live outdoors and it starts raining.

Actually ... they issue Sheep Graziers weather warnings here for Sheep Graziers who have gotten ahead of themselves and have sheared their sheep while there is still a chance of rain, snow, frost, etc.
