Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nike Poggio shoes

Can someone give me a comment on the fit and feel of the Nike Poggio shoes compared to, let's say, a Sidi Genius?

I think they are slightly wider in the toes, and the carbon sole appears to be a little stiffer than the SIDIs.
Also, the SIDIs run a half size smaller: a 42.5 Poggio = 43 SIDI.

Cheers

I bought Poggio II on sale late last year. I don't have anything to compare them to because these are the only road shoes I own, but I'm 100% satisfied. Very comfortable, stiff, and excellent ventilation. My feet get kinda cold though during out harsh Florida winters.
