Been trying to find a decent sets for a gift. So far my short list includes Neuvations, which have gotten good reviews. If you buy it, let us know, maybe I'll put it on my list

They look like knockoff Spinergy Xaero wheels. Might as well go for the real ones for only $200 more. If you want an even cheaper wheelset, there are plenty of alternatives Shimano makes, or even the Most Chall Pinarello house brand wheelset.

Actually, they look like cheap hubs laced to the same rims that come on Vuelta XRP's with proprietary spokes and aluminum nipples.
For the less $$$ you could buy the Vuelta's from Bike Island and get hand built wheels with brass nipples. The hubs and bearings are decent and the rim is welded (not pinned) at the joint.

I have a couple thousand miles on my Vuelta's and have had no problems with them staying true even under my clyde weight. No excessive rim wear and the weld has not cracked. They also don't creak or ping on climbs like some wheels (ahem, Velocity Aeroheads )
