Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ebay titanium seatposts?

I'm after a zero setback post and I found some possible looking ones on ebay. I've searched and couldn't find any reference to these. Has anyone tried one of the generic Ti posts like the ones this guy is selling?

They seem pretty good value. Only thing that puts me off is I can't help thinking it'd look kind of strange on my bike since everything else (bars, tape, stem, saddle, much of the frame) is black. Still, it's cheaper and allegedly lighter than a Thomson.

Cheers,
Matthew
