Bought Camopagnola wheels instead of shimano
I have made an error. I have bought some Pro-lite Como wheels off ebay for £75. They were for campganolo fitting but I should have bought them for a shimano fitting. Do I have to flog these back on ebay or is there a way around it.

Campy...makes Shimano freehub bodies for their wheels.

They're not Campy wheels, though. Try to find a dealer who can make the swap for you. Maybe you'll be able to get hold of a Campy body, but I doubt it. I'm very disappointed in this brand. They do a lousy job providing parts for their wheels, but that seems to be the Walmart way of doing things these days and more and more businesses are doing it: throw a so-so product on the market, hype it, sell it cheap, and call it disposable.

aka mattio
alternatively, you can use shimano cassettes and a jtek shiftmate to adapt your shifter/derailleur to the shimano cassette.

You can't put a Shimano cassette on a Campagnolo compatible freehub. It won't fit. He could put a Campagnolo cassette on there and use a Shiftmate, if he can still get one. I believe J-TEK has ceased production due to the owner's poor health.

This may be a blessing in disguise. Buy another set of Shimano wheels for your bike.
Then, save the Campy wheels, and build yourself another bike with a Campy groupset.
Now, you can ride both.
Before you know it, one of two things will happen....
1. Your Shimano bike will be up on Ebay.
2. Or, your Shimano bike will be stripped of its components to be sold on Ebay, in order to buy another Campy Groupset.
Badda-bing Badda-boom. See how that works?

ok lid.
I have sent the wheels back. I seen the shimano hub body that I could have put on but I never liked the racket the hub made anyway. Someone told me that campys are renouned for this but I prefer as quiet as possible when coasting, like a silent assasin.
I am going to buy comos again but with shimano
