Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: How'd I get this many?

What is really great about this thread is how many beautiful, carefully composed bicycles there are out there. That is pretty sweet as that people are willing to take something that might be readily available (a new carbon frameset) and really craft it into something they not only love to ride, but that looks damn, damn hot.

Even better - that even the folks with nice bikes can still say "Wow, nice bike" to another enthusiast.

I like this positive energy

Hi,

Nice post for this thread. Don't know why some need to be less than pleasant in a thread like this.

After scrolling furthe back in the thread, I saw this......
Very nice!!!!

Makes me miss my Ciocc -

And the other one that had to go............................

On the note of missing bikes, I do kinda miss the original build of my Look-

And I'm bound to miss this, being that it's on its way......

Oh, and no worries. I have some radical concepts in the works to replace my previous rides that would surely be impressive creations as well!

I like modern bikes but that looks like something I could just ride around on all day. Class.

Okay. finally had time to go back and look at the whole thread. There are some gorgeous bikes on here. Especially fond of the moots and some of the classic steel bikes. Beautiful.

While all of Rad's bikes are obviously beautiful, I have to wonder if his photography of these bikes are equally responsible for the wow factor.......

Yeah, I think this too. His excellent photography is definitely helping his bikes look even more gorgeous.

I propose that he photographs all entries into this competition, so that it's fair. I wouldn't mind him taking some awesome shots of my bike...
