Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

BMW/Lexus/Cadillac/Mercedes and all the other high end luxury car brands has had this feature for years on their flagship models...

I don't see how staring at a small screen on the dash with night vision is better than looking through the windshield. Maybe if you're a burglar with your lights off so as to not alert the neighborhood

Sounds like a good idea. Concentrate on the screen instead of the road.

Heads up display superimposed on the glass might be good.

And I didn't think BMW drivers could get any worse.... Now they put a blurry display in the center console to give a false sense of saftey.

Don't worry they're to busy talking on their cell phones to pay attention to the screen....or the road

Their not talking on their cellphones...their shouting into their bluetooths. This night vision feature is just another distraction for drivers. I think it would be better if they put in a Heads Up Display so its projected right onto the windshield.

Though I must say, I kind of like that Flex wagon. Kind of like the biggest Scion xB EVAR!

I'd bet it'd be pretty cycling (-gear) friendly. Seems very road trippy.

And at least they didn't take gubment money...

That's because all the extra money they make selling replacement parts

But seriously I gained respect for ford when they didn't take the bailout.
